Really cosy rooms, extraordinary tasty meals and exciting stories. The place is a little far from the Sevan lake, but you can take a scenic walk in the mountains and find your way down to the water and it's really worth it. The hosts are kind and hospitable people doing immense work on supporting and restoring the local community and cultural traditions. I'll definitely consider Etiuni for future trips to Sevan.

I decided to visit this guesthouse after reading all the lovely reviews, and honestly, it was even better than I expected! I stayed at the beginning of March 2025 while it was snowing, and from the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming. The hosts, Ripsime and Rasme, greeted us warmly right outside their charming home, and soon we found ourselves relaxing by a traditional fireplace، perfect for the snowy weather. Mrs. Ripsime was so sweet; she happily taught me how to make traditional Armenian dishes like Lavash bread and Armenian gateau, using fresh ingredients from her own farm. It felt just like being at my mom’s house، comfortable, friendly, and full of warmth. She even showed me the handmade dolls and blankets made from goat wool. Huge thanks to Ripsime and Rasme for such a lovely stay!

We absolutely loved our four week stay here. The house is owned by a beautiful family. So much care and attention has been put into making the place comfortable and welcoming, and the owners are very kind people. They even adopted a puppy while we were there, one which we had seen earlier in the day on the streets. We have so many happy memories from our time in this guesthouse. That's an awesome place just in the mountains! Awesome time to get there when it's snowy! You got a great feeling of a fairytale at the place. Decorations and buildings exceed our expectations!

Chkalovka Guest House is a place with beautiful garden, where You can spend some time. The owners are very friendly and hearty, they always asked if we need anything. Despite language barier we were able to communicate using google translator. Breakfast was delicious and large. Hosts asked us what we want to eat and prepared it on their own. We highly recommend this place to stay and hope that we will go there in the future :)
