A beautiful piece of paradise. The team were very friendly and helpful, the food was lovely and it was in a quiet spot off the road but close to La Fortuna. We wish we could have stayed longer, it was very relaxing.

I was the only one staying in the hotel during this low season. The rooms where simple but good for the price, and there was access to a kitchen for cooking. The best thing was the lady in the booking office just outside that took care of the hotel. She is probably the most friendly person I met during this trip and gave great information of all activities without trying to sell any tours.

I travel a lot and spend a long time away from home, so cleanliness, comfort, and beauty around me are very important. I found all of this at La Tigra Mountain House. The beds are wide, the mattresses are comfortable. The hostess of the house is very attentive and caring. And I would like to highlight the view separately. It's fantastic!!! The Platanar and Porvenir volcanoes are visible as if in the palm of your hand. Sunrises, clouds running at eye level, and hovering birds attract and compel you to stop and enjoy life. In the morning, I tried to exercise, but it smoothly transitioned into meditation... As they say, it's better to see once than hear a hundred times!! Come and see for yourself. I recommend it...

The kind helpfulness of our hosts. The view and setting Thank you to the amazing family who run the lodgings! They were very kind and attentive! The location is excellent! Highly recommended: The butterfly conservatory which is literally just a few minutes walk up the street is awesome with several stunning walks, views, and stories of its own. The amazing views from all around the property and neighbourhood! Pura vida!

Just stay here. Friendly host. Great view. Spacious room, including bath spa. Received an upgrade at no extra cost, which was greatly appreciated. The property really is just metres outside the Sky Adventure Park, not the entrance down below, as the directions are somewhat vague.

Excellent located with gorgeous view from the upper floor to the Pacific, very comfy bed & pillow & extremely nice & helpful hosts - je fixed my flat tire in the second - thx so much - we'll be back next time for sure !!!
