The room was magnificent- clean, comfortable and spacious. Tip marks also for the quietness, no excessive sounds got through. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was great, right at the start of the hiking path.

Rooms were clean and large. Whole complex always smelt fresh and clean. Owners were very friendly! Breakfast was ample with a variety of fresh rolls, the type changed daily. Boiled eggs available on request. A small lockable compartment in a fridge on the landing was a very welcome find in the heat.

The family-run Landgasthof zur Quelle offers simple rooms, free private parking and a traditional restaurant. It is situated in Seeshaupt-Magnetsried, just 5 km away from the Starnberger See Lake.

The whole experience was a great delight!! Thank you to all involved in making our stay so special and unforgettable. We were made to feel very welcome. Home from home. The grill was so wonderfully done and the meals so tasty. The best steaks out. Master chef quality. The location excellent. So quiet and peaceful. Comfy mattress. Clean facilities.
