For an overnighted on The Camino Mozárabe it was perfect. Only a couple of hundred metres from the way. Nice spacious and clean room had everything that I needed. Lunch was excellent too, served until 4pm on a Sunday. The staff were very helpful and nice. Breakfast from 6.30am which gave me a good starting point for the day.

Facing the seafront, Hostal Rio offers 2-star accommodation in Medellín and has an open-air bath and bar.

Good location for visiting nature reserves in area, restaurant across square owned by same host, great food large portions, good parking would not hesitate to stay again.
