Very welcoming lady at the reception, we had a choice of room from the options. Well equipped room with air conditioning, with private terrace, option to use swimming pools. Easy access to the beach, option to borrow the beach umbrella, sun beds etc free of charge. Amazing and variable breakfast with local fresh options / fruit.

Hostal El Dorado has a quiet setting in San José, a 5-minute walk from the beach. The hotel offers an outdoor pool and rooms with a private balcony or terrace.

Very good communication about how to access the key upon our arrival. The room had everything we needed, the terrace was very nice place to sit.

I liked the location very close to sea and city centre yet still nicely quiet area. Everything in the property seemed new and very clean. Communication via WhatsApp was most smooth and pleasant (in English).

The location although remote is it's greatest plus. We saw the brightest shooting stars in the sky and the milky way. The hosts are the sweetest and most welcoming. They served the best homemade fig marmalade. We planned one dinner at the stay and the atmosphere was magical and extremely cozy. The dogs and cats make the place all the more homely. This is one place we are definitely going to miss.

It was very clean and smelled fresh, the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast included in the price was lovely and had lots of selection. It was a very secure building where you needed an access code to get in, all in all a very pleasant stay!
