The property was very homey and lovely. The breeze of cool air from the cave was so refreshing even though the weather was so hot outside around 38 degrees the time we went. We really had good nights of sleep. The couple running the Airbnb was so nice and friendly. They even dine with us and prepared a delicious dinner so don’t miss it. They both speak good English so that was really helpful all throughout our travel.

I had a fantastic 2 night stay here. I was traveling by motorcycle and this place is ideal. The hosts are lovely and very good hosts. The breakfasts were fantastic with lots of homemade jams, compotes, yoghurt etc (there's an orchard next door). It's a 30 minute walk into town which is pleasant. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in the area. Very nice friendly dog who kept me company over breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at Hugos' very special place! If you would like to stay at a Troglo Hotel, the experience is really worth it! Hugo is really nice and forecoming. You have this amazing room with a nice outdoor area with a private spa for every room. He offers a great breakfast as well as room service for dinner, which was also really tasty. All in all a really cool experience, u the stay! Would love to come again!

We were warmly welcomed by Patrick and shown around the property. The house is beautiful and authentic of its period. There is a wonderful sense of calm and serenity here, and it has the added bonus of having two gorgeous dogs, who were so friendly. The facilities here are great, a fabulous swimming pool overlooking the vegetable garden and lovely walks around the grounds. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh with very good coffee. We had the pleasure of sharing our breakfast experience with fellow guests who were very nice and inclusive. This was a most relaxing stay, and I would love to return here in the future and stay longer next time.

What an exceptional establishment to stay in. An Abbot's Palace ffs. With a considerate and informative hostess. Also access to the garden and it's environs. Not 'conventionally' luxurious but everything that's required. Breakfast and coffee outside in the courtyard (large - remember this is an Abbot's Palace we're talking about here) just adds to the uniqueness. Then a tour around the accessable 14th century enormous chapel, with surreal animalistic/religious artwork. Truly accessable as the rooms were last occupied by retired nuns. Ramps on pretty much every threshold. And on-site produced Close de l'Abbaye Organic wine available in the office. Our stay was truly Heaven on Earth.
