A good place for good value. It is both close to the station and quiet (the station doesn't bother you). We stayed just for one night but got everything we needed: good and hot shower, comfy bed, good WiFi. A pitcher of chilled drinking water was very thoughtful and nice. :)

We both had the full English breakfast. The host was wonderful and made a great breakfast in a nice, cozy dining room. The coffee was served in a french press which was a great surprise for Americans traveling in England.

Room is clean and bright though it's over 200 years old.The rooms still feel comfortable and warm. And John is really kind and helpful. He told us a lot about Dover's history stories and recommended us a quite wonderful restaurant. It's the best thing that I chose this guest room and I am wishing to come back again!
