Everything exceeded my expectations. Check in was smooth and easy, even though I arrived late at night after the check in time. Great pub and accommodation.The landlord and landlady were most accommodating during our two night stay.Our room No 3 was brilliant warm and comfortable decorated to a very high order with everything we could possibly need. Situated in the Eastgate district of Bury Saint Edmunds lovely Old buildings and very quiet and a park opposite leading to the main town and cathedral and ruins.The food was great it's a definite return for us.
