Nice quiet location on the edge of town. Still close enough to walk but far enough away to be very quite and peaceful. Comfy beds, very clean and enough goodies to have a simple breakfast. Offered very early check-in by email once room was ready (no charge). Great sized room.

I cannot speak for all rooms but I have stayed in a twin room (not above the pub) and it was absolutely fantastic! It was newly renovated, well designed, warm and very clean. The shower is great, excellent water pressure. There is a tropical shower and a regular one. Big sink and one tap (something you don't always get in Scotland!). The facilities offer a spacious kitchen with a wide selection of utensils and kitchenware and basic necessities like tea, coffee, sugar, cocoa, sauces and oils. You can buy stuff too, like cereals, bread, eggs, yogurt, jam, milk etc. The staff is usually in the pub so you are left all to yourself. Checking in and out is extremely simple. But do check your mail before coming to the guest house as it will have all the information you need to check in. Housekeeping staff are incredibly helpful and nice. A special thanks to all the girls, they have made my stay much more pleasant :)

The cooked breakfast was excellent. An all-day cold breakfast was a super benefit. The facilities were great. The rooms were very comfy and clean. Only a short walk to the pier.
