The heating was off when we arrived late at night, so the bathroom and bedroom were freezing. But we will know that till next time. Except for that everything about this place is lovely and we particularly love the spacious beds and cleanliness of the entire property. We will definitely be back.

This old inn is a gem in every way. From the welcome, to the comfort and size of the room to the excellent food, particularly for vegetarians, this inn is a standout. It's also the perfect location for touring and despite the weather we had a most enjoyable visit. The staff are most attentive and add to the charm of the inn.

Location is great with free private parking, 10 mins to lake and 7~8 mins to town center by foot. Staff is very nice and helpful. After checkout we leave the car in their yard and do short hiking around the lake. Breakfast is excellent, we ordered traditional British breakfast with black pudding. It's nice. They also has a small but beautiful garden.

Amidst the idyllic, peaceful scenery of the Lake District’s Buttermere Fells, the Bridge Hotel is set between Buttermere and Crummock Water.
