Friendly family run business. Best welcome I've had at a guest house ever. Instantly felt at home, love this place and the people. The place is absolutely wonderful, very close to the centre. It has a great atmosphere. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, we felt like at home. The breakfasts were also fantastic. We enjoyed the stay enormously.

A lot of thought was put into this with the ponds, and outdoor games. Sad I could only stay a short while as it would be quite nice to have a small family/ friends stay there for a few days.

I stayed at The Eagle in Gateshead for four nights and couldn’t be more impressed.
