The rooms are very spacious and clean. The little garden and the pool are just perfect. Calm and quiet oasis surrounded by ricefields. Perfect to relax after shopping/walking around buzy ubud. 10 minutes with a scooter to get to the center. Wayan, the hostess, is just lovely and always happy to help with anything. I would definitely visit again!

We loved everything about our stay at Mancur guesthouse. The staff is beyond welcoming, we have never before had such a wonderful experience. Breakfast was very delicious, views from the property are out of this world - the lush green scenery and peaceful surroundings are everything we needed and a nice change from the hustle and bustle of Ubud city centre while still being quite close to the city. The room was cleaned every day which we really appreaciated and the staff was unbelievably nice and helpful. We used their airport shuttle service which was such a great option, on time and at a great price point. They even prepared breakfast for the road in the airport shuttle service on our last day, because we had to leave before 5 am for our flight. Additional bonus is that there is a great restaurant within a walking distance of the accommodation - Layana Warung, with great food and very beautiful views. When we come to Bali again, this is definitely where we're going to stay.

It was very quiet and, if you want to experience living in a relatively rural Balinese village then this is a good example. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly but Coki, a local tour guide, was absent for most of our stay and his charming wife (Coki2?) had very limited English (as we have very limited Bahasa!). She is a good cook and gave us breakfast each day and offered evening meals for a very modest extra charge.

Everything!! Gorgeous quiet secluded property, warm and friendly staff. Really lovely rooms with everything you need. You will need a bike, but if you’re heading to East Bali, this is MUST stay. There are great night markets near by, and the large town of Gianyar just ten minutes away

LOVE this family run guesthouse with a delicious restaurant onsite. Ari & his team are so welcoming, friendly & accommodating! The property & room is beautiful, spacious, clean, comfortable & so peaceful surrounded by rice fields. Wade (Ari’s brother) provided custom tours that somehow beat the crowds even though we started at 9am! He caters to each guest’s desires perfectly, is an amazing driver, guide & photographer!! Ari also added a couple impromptu stops during transfers which were so great!!

We had a great time at Kubu Bakas Guest House. The house was so nice, you can enjoy the nature. The bungalows were really charming, made of natural materials. Here you can discover the real Bali, away from the noisy Ubud. The owner Ari is a very nice guy. I highly recommend it! The food was also delicious. Amazing place with the friendly people! 😊

Magnificent, quiet location with a sublime view of the rice paddies. Quiet, comfortable. We highly recommend to spend time here. The host is perfect, friendly and attentive to making your stay a success. Breakfast is served on a lovely, peaceful terrace: omelette, fruit, coffee, toast, excellent.
