We stayed at Magnolia Guesthouse with our kids at 8 and 10 and had a great time. We had two big connected rooms with good storage possibilities and a big shaded patio. The staff was very helpful, friendly and making fun with the kids. Good food in the restaurant. Nice pool and short walk to the peaceful Odayam Beach. We highly recommend it.

Excellent Stay at Rams Guest House, Varkala I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rams Guest House in Varkala and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The rooms are incredibly spacious and come with comfortable queen beds, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Nestled in a tranquil area away from the hustle and bustle, it offers a serene environment ideal for relaxation. One of the highlights is its prime location, just a short walk from the stunning Varkala Cliff, Black Beach, and Odayam. This makes it very convenient to explore the local attractions without the need for transportation. The guest house also provides ample car parking space, which is a great plus for those traveling by car. They offer homemade food at an extra charge, and I must say the Idli and Dosa are a must-try! The meals are healthy, cooked with minimal oil and spices, and exclusively use coconut oil for a truly authentic flavor. The use of well water for bathing added a refreshing touch to the experience. Overall, Rams Guest House offers excellent hospitality and comfort, making it a perfect place to stay when visiting Varkala. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

The property was beautiful and clean. The facilities worked well. Close to the beach. Highly recommend staying here. The two young boys working here Sekhar and Ashok were attentive to everything we needed and helped us have the best stay. They gave us good recommendations and took us to get cash when we needed. They were so kind and a highlight of our trip was meeting them. If you get a chance, please talk to them and get a chance to know them.
