(+) we had the family room on the top floor, which is just huge and with a fantastic view. (+) very friendly staff, the check-in was quick and flexible (+) location is just perfect, close to everything (+) the kitchen / dining area is great, lots of space and every equipment you might need for cooking. hint: try to avoid the rooms next to the kitchen area, great views but you also get all the smells and noise from the kitchen.

Favorite place in Iceland, I swear. I Immediately fell in love with this cosy farm located 10 km far from everyone and everything else. You can escape from the world here enjoying the peace of the nature's noises. The view outside every window is absolutely outstanding. We were able to see the Northern lights straight from our beds. Not only the house is furnished beautifully, but it also has everything you are looking forward while travelling across Iceland: a well equipped kitchen, soft beds, a nice living room where you can relax and read, and also a clean bathroom with a washing machine. I recommend everyone a stop here before coming back to Reykjavik. You won't regret it for sure, worth every penny (actually cheaper than most places in Iceland!!!!)

It was the last place for me and my family before leaving Iceland and we are really happy we chose it. The views are amazing, house was comfortable, it was a really warm welcome from host. Also you have chance to meet the horses. Also location is great if you want to visit west part of Iceland

This is a wonderful place to explore the area of Akranes. About 20 minutes off the city, settled in a beautiful landscape, the house is very spacious, very comfortable and particularly well equipped. We stayed there with our two kids and the house was more than enough. The outside hot bath is also a wonderful place to relax at the end of a good day. Although we didn't meet them in person the hosts were very friendly and responsive to any question we had.
