Everything! This was on my bucket list for a very long time. Spending a night in the very house that the legend Geoffrey Bawa lived & worked was in itself a moving experience. Beautifully maintained by the trust. Every corner, every piece of furniture & art has a story to tell. Staff is wonderful & breakfast was delicious. Can't wait to return to Colombo & stay here again.

The owners are wonderful - we came in the middle of night and we're leaving as well very early morning but we had our breakfast done on time. It's really enormous to eat and taste each dish. My daughters loved chandelier in patio where bird made its nest and it was taking care of small birds. Although it's a little out of city centrum but it gives silence and possibility to rest in patio to observe animals as birds and squirrels coming for eating. The room is spacious with attached bathroom. Very close to Leisure Villa there is good restaurant - Tango to eat supper or lunch.

Everything from start to finish. Sampath is just an EXCEPTIONAL host! He welcomed us, offered tea/coffee/snacks, gave us plenty of tips and ideas about what to do in the area. Personally took us to some places. The Eco Lodge is kept extremely nice and clean. Very comfortable beds and all facilities. Also, Sampath's wife is an amazing cook. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and our wishes were totally taken into account. They also have a super cute dog and cat. Just... Book this place, it's amazing!

Truly a hidden gem in Colombo! We stumbled upon this spot by accident, and what a happy coincidence it was. The experience is more like a cozy Airbnb than a standard hotel. The rooms are clean with all the basic amenities, and there is a kitchen where you can prepare meals. The location is excellent—every major café and tourist attraction is just a quick TukTuk ride away. The host, Ignatius Joseph, is amazing. You can tell he has put a lot of thought into the house, which features beautiful colonial-style decor. He was always available to help and shared fantastic tips on local cafes. It was a pleasure meeting him. Tip: I highly recommend booking directly with him! 10/10

We absolutely loved our stay! Excellent location for those who are looking for a more peaceful stay in hectic Colombo. Lovely neighbourhood, very walkable, with lots of great restaurants and cafes very close by. The villa is beautiful and very comfortable. Very spacious room, new bathroom and the bed was comfy. The owner is very nice and we enjoyed talking with him at night. We will definitely come back next time we are in Colombo.
