A nice place to stay in Dikwella that is conveniently located just a minutes walk to Dikwella beach, a 20 min walk to hirikitiya beach, and just 7 minutes (2 mins scooter) to turtle beach (where you are pretty much guaranteed to see turtles). The bed was comfortable, I slept well, and the surrounding was local and natury. I would say one of the main things that stood out was the friendly hosts Nimal and his wife who went out of their way to ensure it was a comfortable stay for me. They provided helpful tips on what to see and do, also arranged a scooter (which was MUCH easier than having to deal with a rental company), and Nimal saved the day getting me to my bus to Ella (whilst risking life and limb in traffic to get me on it!). If that doesn't convince you to book a few nights, their delicious traditional Sri Lankan breakfast will!

Huge, comfortable and clean room. Bathroom also really nice with very separate shower, so the floor doesn't get wet. A rarity. It was great and handy to have a kitchen to make breakfast and coffee. The internet was good and there's a cute seating area in the garden. Laundry service was convenient, too, and seemed to be market price. Groceries and beach with all the restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Really loved my time here and conversations with Mr. Wijesena gave me a lot of new insights about this country. I highly recommend staying in this house, its a local business and they’re wonderful hosts. It doesn’t feel transactional at all, I received bananas and tea from the hostess free of charge and they were just amazing people. Highly suggest renting a scooter or a vehicle to make the most of the surroundings.

Ranjit and his team were amazing, nothing was too much problem, showers hot, 3 minutes walk from the surf beach and access anything else via the beach, nice quiet garden positioned, brand new apartment such every suggestion was taken onboard immediately,well done guys!!

Wonderful stay at Noble Nest, perfectly situated only a short walk from everywhere whilst tucked away slightly at the end of a lovely little road with a few local houses. Room was perfect, nice bathroom, comfy bed, nice & clean, A/C worked great! Just all round no complaints whatsoever 🙏🏼

This was my favourite place I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka so far! What a beautiful family - such gentle and thoughtful hosts. The room was lovely and very clean. I had a great stay! The room was very clean and comfortable. The whole house is well maintained and has a warm atmosphere. The host is extremely friendly and helpful – he made me feel very welcome. I can highly recommend this place!
