the host family was very helpful and kind in any aspects. We are very grateful for their hospitality and attitude. The location is just great, many restaurants nearby and is only 12-15 min walk from Mirissa beach. All facilities were great and people in this area are very kind. Easy to catch a tuktuk and negotiate the price.

We had a fantastic stay at Il Mio Mirissa and our host was always very attentive and helpful. Location is perfect, its walking distance to the main beach, shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend for anyone.

Very excepcional place for people who love nature and spending time observing so many different birds, playing with the owner cat, watching piccos nearby in the garden, listening to the rain in the night and beautiful silence.. We really enjoyed it and I recommend it to everyone who wants to stay closer to nature and feel like a part of it. The owner is just amazing, very friendly, polite, responsible and helped us a lot with everything we requested. We will carry with us wonderful memories. Highly recommended!! All the best! We just left the place and I have to say, this was the best stay we had! The room is amazing, big, with great mosquito net, A/C and big bathroom. The breakfast WAS SO GOOOD. Great stay in this establishment, the 3 bedrooms have an incredible view on the ocean. We couldn't have dreamed of better. Tissara and her parents are lovely hosts who welcomed us wonderfully. The juices, meals and breakfasts were delicious. Thank you for everything, we will definitely come back on our next trip to Sri Lanka.
