Great location, loads of wildlife, friendly helpful staff and overall just heaven on earth! I frequently walked to the beach alone (I am female) and felt 100% safe surrounded by warm loving generous people.

The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay! Every morning we were presented with the fully vegan version of the Sri Lankan breakfast option and it was extremely generous and delicious! There was something different every morning too. I would definitely stay here again, excellent location within easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants around Weligama.

Very clean and nice family run guest home with kitchen with fridge close to the beach and surf spots in Weligama. The bed was comfortable and there was always hot water. The family are very kind and helpful and I was able to extend my stay by one night spontaneously. Thank you, Chaminda!

Spacious room with comfy bed, big bathroom - all clean and neat. Close to Weligama beach (easier to reach by bike though, or a 15-20min walk) and very quiet. The host and his mom were so welcoming, arranged the laundry for us and we could literally just jump on one of the bikes parked in front. No complicated paperwork, you just have to ask and pay a minimum amount.

Had a great time at 2B1 in Weligama. The place was had good placement close to the beach, cafés and shops. The room was comfy and included a small shared kitchen to cut fruits and store beverages. We went surfing with the host twice which was really cool - such a nice and helpful guy who helped us a lot and made us feel welcome.

I loved staying at Weligama Bay house! The room was a good size, big beds, AC, clean facilities, shared kitchen (which is not so common in hostels in Weligama), and outside patio with lots of space. I was working on my computer daily, and the room was perfect for this with daylight and AC. It was easy to get to know people there in the shared space, but also nice to have a private room to relax :) The location was prime, just a few seconds to the beach and the surf, and all the restaurants and coffee-shops! The owner is fantastic, and very quick to help you when you need anything! Overall, I had a great stay at Weligama Bay house! I would definitely book again.
