We absolutely loved our stay here! Perfect location on the lagoon with a private dock, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The kayaks were also really convenient and great to use. We will very happily stay again next time we are in Bacalar! The breakfast was also delicious and convenient, especially on a Monday morning when the nearby cafes were closed. We also loved that drinking water was provided on site - be sure to bring your reusable water bottle to reduce waste.

Victor was very kind and always available. It is a simple and essential dwelling. The AC is great as the mosquito net. The kitchen comes with all you may need including coffee, oil, and salt. The morning fresh fruits the household provides makes it even more pleasant.

We had a wonderful stay! The host is very friendly (and there is an adorable cat) and the whole space is beautifully decorated. The common areas are spacious and the kitchen is well equipped and clean. Our room was on the first floor with large windows on several sides. It too was pretty and very comfortable, with a super soft sheet and blanket. The Ado bus stop and a big supermarket are at a walkable distance.

the vibe here is really nice! the property is run by a family which takes you in like you are part of the community (: the breakfast is basic, but good! the shower and the rest of the bathroom is great, the beds are comfy and we had our own little terrace with two chairs, a table and a terrace! we really liked it here!!

An incredibly charming family welcomed us, and we immediately took them to heart... and I believe they did the same with us. Even though we speak only a few words of Spanish and they don't speak English, we got along well. Whenever we needed help or had questions, they were immediately ready and incredibly hospitable. Here, you live together and get to see what the "local life" is like. There's a communal kitchen for guests, a rooftop terrace for relaxing, and even a water refill station. The rooms are simple and functional. Another plus is that in the morning, you can hear a wonderful concert of birds upon waking up; the jungle is right next door. Simply marvelous, we felt very comfortable here and would come back anytime.
