Great location, far out, but in 20 minutes at the coast and the next town Extremely quiet and perfect for a few relaxing days. Xana and Miguel have been such wonderful hosts, always available if you have any needs, but still 100% privacy. We would love to come back in the near future

The location was fantastic in the center and just in front of the ferry boat to the beach. The breakfast was fabulous and the nice persons at the Reception were very friendly and helpful.

Super accommodation! Quiet residential area, easy walking to historic centre and Porta Nova train station. Very clean and secure, very modern facilities in the room. Some welcome treats including chocolate, wine and beer were placed in my room - a very kind thought :) Good communication with the host. I was able to arrange earlier check in, 15.00 hrs, which was important to me. Thank you!

Lovely hotel room with lots of outside space and a communal garden where you could sit and relax. It had a fridge which was convenient to keep our stuff cold. The bed was comfy and though we didn't use the air conditioning much it was very quiet and efficient when we did. It's about a 5 minute walk to the train station which takes you to a number of places along the Algarve. It was very cheap too compared to what we pay in England. There are a few local bars/cafes close by. It was about a 20 minutes walk to the beach/resort. Too touristy for us but some may like it. The hotel is family run and they do a splendid job of making you feel welcome. Parking is good too.

A little oasis of calm in quite a busy area. We had a room with a well equipped kitchen and terrace with hamac and seating area which led onto the swimming pool and terrace which were fantastic with lots of top quality furnishings. It was a great place to relax and we spent most of our week out there! There was something for everyone at breakfast and the staff were really accomodating and friendly. There are three local bars next to the hotel. Burger King and McDonalds are a 10 min walk away and there are three supermarkets and the train station within a 20 minute walk. Vila Real with a ferry across to Ayamonte in Spain is a 45 min walk along the main road or 6€ by taxi and a great day out. We will definitely be back.

Quiet location. Bed are good. There is a shared kitchen and living room. The breakfast is excellent! We got freshly scrambled eggs, and also homemade cake. But the best thing of all are the hosts! They are so helpful and service minded! AAA+
