We loved the building and the traditional character of our ensuite room. The views are amazing, both from our terrace and the shared terrace where you have breakfast. We had an incredible overnight stay at this beautiful guesthouse close to the old town of Gjirokastra with 8 members of my family, including my boyfriend’s family. The location is perfect, offering stunning views of the city, and the entire place is impeccably clean. The guesthouse itself is beautifully maintained, with a charming atmosphere that fits perfectly with the historic surroundings. The owners are truly the highlight of our stay. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Their warmth and hospitality made our experience even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Gjirokastra. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and memorable experience in this beautiful city!

They didn’t speak English, but we were able to communicate with their daughter over WhatsApp who was responsive and provided great information on our stay. We appreciated the location which was walking distance to old town. The views of both the mountains and the castle were incredible. The breakfast was delicious and generous, made with organic produce from their garden, and served with love. Highly recommend!

We had an absolute perfect experience with Bujtina Anlu. The views are spectacular, still it’s close to Gjirokastër. The room and breakfast were perfect, food was so delicious. But what makes this place special is the people - we had a problem with the car, we had a flat tire and a dead battery and they gave it all to help us - even managed to open a closed car repair nearby to bring us a new tire and found a guy who could load the battery. The hospitality was truly unmatched. We would like to recommend this place to everyone who’s looking for the best experience possible. Hope to see you guys again!
