This guest house features free private parking and private check-in and check-out. The property is non-smoking and is located 12 km from Macedon Train Station. I stayed for one night so I could revisit Hanging Rock and participate at Campaspe parkrun the following day. I really enjoyed my stay. Islay house is about 5-10 mins walk from Woodend station. Very close to the town centre and right across the road from Campaspe parkrun. I was made to feel very welcome. Tarni and Clive are really nice and friendly and I really enjoyed their company. I was especially grateful to Tarni for offering to take me to the rock and picking me up later. I didn't expect it. Not many people would do that. It was such a nice gesture, and I really appreciated it. The property is really clean and comfortable. In fact, I had the best night's sleep throughout my time in Australia when I stayed here. The blue room was a lovely room to stay in, spotless and spacious. I had a good breakfast the following morning at a time, which suited me. I could have easily stayed for longer, and I do hope to go back again at some point. I was very happy with my decision to come here. It was perfect for what I was looking for and if you're planning to visit woodend, this is the place to come. Highly recommended!!

The guest house was beautiful, spacious and well set up with everything we needed. The property it was on was gorgeous and lovely to walk around.
