The price is good and and view is so amazing with the beautiful blue ocean . The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown Kangaroo island Thank you Dhea and Family for an excellent stay. You guys were professional in every way. Accommodation and food was of the highest standard specially the Dinner that is so amazing and a wonderful experience for us. Craig was a wonderful host. We got lost heading there at night and he helped us get settled. His recommendations were also spot on and we managed to see all the wildlife in the area, whether in the trees on the property (koalas, Kimmy, Jimmy, and Ducky) or on the coast (dolphins). Would highly recommend this property and any other the other CandE properties on the island. Tips for travelling to KI: - No small car hire even if your party is small - gravel roads for some of the prettiest locations. - Get the KI tourist booklet at the airport - only Telstra gets connection, so the island map is a lifesaver. - Definitely reach out to Craig for island recommendations :)

This accommodation is a paradisiacal place in the middle of nature with ever-present wild animals. The hosts Betty and Peter provide guests with all the important tips and things they need to live comfortably in the flat, including delicious provisions for breakfast for the first few days. The tastefully and fully furnished flat impresses with many small details. Everything has been thought of here! It is ideal for a couple and offers plenty of privacy for a relaxing holiday. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob (without oven) and lots of utensils. The hobby chef will not be left wanting. The bed has a soft surface on which we slept comfortably. The days we spent in this accommodation were a highlight of our trip to Australia. Many thanks to the hosts. .

A wonderful specious rustic accommodation. Set in the middle of bushland with beautiful water views. Kitchen is well organised. Plenty of towels available in the bathroom. Just 25 minutes from the ferry and/or Kingscote, 5 minutes to lovely American River.

the property owner is a kind gentleman who loves gardening. we were a bit clumsy when trying to park the car on the slope but he explained how to do it with great patience. room was absolutely clean and everything we needed(hand wash, kitchenware, ironing board etc.)was already there without having to request for them.
