Very tastefully and interestingly decorated. The owner thought of every detail to make the guest feel at home during vacation from both the style and practicality. We loved that it had a coffee maker and milk in the fridge for our morning coffee. The 3-d map on the wall was a big hit for us! The chairs to watch TV were super comfortable as was the bed. There were blankets and pillows in the living room. Kitchen had everything needed and more like pot with boiled water. Great idea! They have very tasty tap water there. I would highly recommend The Sounds and hope to return myself. The view is spectacular!

Hanlon Guest House está en Stanley, a 4 min a pie de Godfreys Beach, y tiene salón de uso común, habitaciones libres de humo y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. I liked everything about this place. So close to the nut and in my room felt like I was transported back in time. Beds very comfortable, and amenities were as expected clean and fresh. Felt like royalty staying here!

You must come and stay on this beautiful property when visiting Tasmania, you will not regret it. There are beautiful walks on the property, you don't need to leave. We saw echidnas, possums, paddymelons and were even lucky enough to spot a wombat. The kids were obsessed with checking for chicken eggs daily and loved picking some fresh produce from the organic veggie garden. So many games and activities to keep them entertained as well. Beds were comfortable, our cottage was beautiful and the cozy wood fire at night was so the icing on the cake. The photos online don't actually do this place justice. Just stunning views everywhere you look. Thank you for having us!

I loved that we had a microwave recipe to make scrambled eggs from the freshly laid eggs supplied. Henrrietta invited us to her studio and explained her various painting techniques to us. Paul was very friendly each time we chatted. We loved the view of the Huon River; day and night. The possums and pademelons visited the garden at night searching for food. Tasmania had a very dry summer.
