Good for relaxation, there is no internet or signal at the cottage, which allows for social media detox. However, broadband is available near the main building/restaurant if you can't live without internet. I was able to do a couple of web/video calls to my office early in the morning before going deep into the forest.

Vista do Lago Jungle Lodge is a recently renovated guest house in Cajual, where guests can makes the most of its pool with a view, garden and bar. This guest house offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Amazing experience! We stayed for 5 nights and didn't want to leave. We really loved the place, the friendly staff, the breathtaking view. Throughout our stay, we were accompanied by the wonderful guide and translator - Cedar. From the first moment he helped with everything we needed, and with a lot of patience. He took us to fascinating activities and was a source of knowledge about everything related to the Amazon. Another energetic guide is Daniel, who makes every experience special and prepares a perfect caipirinha. An unforgettable experience!

A recently renovated guest house in Manaus and within 48 km of Manaus Courthouse, Ponta Poranga Jungle Lodge has a garden, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. The property was built in 2014 and features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the lake and river. I absolutely loved this place. The staff was awesome especially Gabriel, Anderson and everyone else. They went the extra mile to accommodate an emergency call we had to make. The food was some of the best I have ever had. Fresh homade with a lot of love! I will be returning in the future!

Set in Parintins, near Cathedral of Nossa Senhora do Carmo and Liberdade Square, Albergue Flor do Caribe is a recently renovated property, featuring, a garden and barbecue facilities. It is situated less than 1 km from Cultural Center Amazonino Mendes and offers a shared kitchen. The guest house has family rooms. The staff is fantastic, very nice people and Celia is the perfect hostess, always attentive and kind. She went beyond all expectations! Thank you!! The location is perfect too. I also liked that the hostel is very shaded, with large trees covering the backyard and finally, the breakfast is amazing!

The air-conditioned units have a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave and kitchenware. All units are equipped with a kettle, a private bathroom and free WiFi, while selected rooms are fitted with a terrace and some have garden views. At the guest house, units are equipped with bed linen and towels. It's a cozy place in a good location. We stayed in two different rooms because we extended our stay. One had a lot more space but the bathroom was outside the room. The other one (junior suite) was smaller but still comfortable enough for us. The host was quite helpful and reasonable and answered our questions quite promptly. The location is very good, right next to the Amazon theater and close to many food places for different budgets. The kitchenette doesn't have a stove but there is a microwave, electric kettle, some other equipment and teas and small snacks as well. We found it more than good enough for some simple breakfast. Overall, a really great stay in a cozy place in a nice location.
