I enjoyed my stay. The guesthouse is in between Kasane and Kazungula, but it was easy to grab a taxi for 8 pula to get into town. There are taxis constantly going back and forth between the two towns. The location was quiet and peaceful. The hosts were gracious and kind.

We have been travelling for 2 years and hardly ever do we give 10/10 as there’s always something that could be better. Not here!! Secure parking - always very important for our motorbikes. Room - cannot fault it. Our own little home from home. Every detail has been thought about as if the room has been lived in by the owners, not just turned into a guest house. The bed was super comfortable and large, comfy armchairs, good working desk, fabulous wardrobe and storage including hangers!! There was also a patio where we could sit outside. Loads and loads of power sockets all round the room and in convenient places. We had no trouble charging anything at all. Bathroom was beautiful and the shower fantastic. All toiletries provided and super thick towels. Breakfast was amazing. Cooked to order and hot! Lumba is a lovely person and fabulous host. She couldn’t do enough for us and looked after us extremely well. We felt like a part of the family. We extended our stay and stayed for five nights in the end. Such a wonderful place.

To visit Chobe National Park, we decided to stay a bit outside of Kazane, closer to nature, and chose Destiny Blo Inn. This turned out to be not just a good decision, it was a true jackpot. Chimney made our stay absolutely unforgettable. Travel is not only about nature, but also about people, and it’s the people who connect us to the local culture. Chimney not only shared insights about life in Botswana, but also organized the best game drive we’ve ever experienced: a 12-hour journey through Chobe with a breakfast and lunch break, all arranged by him. We had the time not just to see the animals, but to truly observe their lives in peace. Honestly, this experience even surpassed our impressions of Victoria Falls the day before. While the facilities may seem modest to some, the dedication and heart Chimney puts into his hosting are the real highlights—and they added incredible value to our journey.

Sunbirds Lodge Chobe se encuentra en Kasane, a 9,1 km de Mowana Golf Course, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. El lugar era un oasis, con unos jardines espectaculares. El apartamento era enorme, con dos habitaciones dobles muy grandes, dos baños completos y un salón/comedor también grandes. El personal muy amable, nos aconsejaron actividades que nos fueron muy bien.

Warm-hearted host and professional service at a beautiful garden place with back-door to the river. We were specifically nicely helped with the organization of a boat as well as land safari at very fair prices. In addition, we were unexpectedly supported with help as to our ongoing travels. We loved the quiet and spacious terrace in front of our apartment and enjoyed several times the evening outdoor surrounded by the splendid plants and flowers. Very well equipped kitchen.
