We spent two wonderful nights at August House. Everything from the fire pit with s'mores fixings, the modern immaculate rooms to the delicious breakfast were all perfect. Boasting a waterfront location, this Digby property offers an on-site bar and restaurant. A kitchen or kitchenette feature in most of the suites. Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa is 2 km away. Very well presented room. Good layout and great water pressure in the shower. Really enjoyed the stay and highly recommended the location.

We were late for the dinner my son had booked to join us. I rang the Blomidon Hotel and explained and the staff welcomed them and told them we would be late and we were able to order a wonderful meal at 8pm The Hotel is beautiful and clean and the staff are caring and nothing is too much trouble. We will be back.

They gave us wonderful dinner recommendations. The room itself was very spacious, up-to-date, and very comfortable. Probably one of the best rooms of our entire stay in Nova Scotia.

The entire inn is very well maintained and the room was very spacious. Breakfast was delicious. Also, the owner is so very friendly and attentive to details. We wished that we had planned to stay longer, but laid out a fairly aggressive schedule to visit Nova Scotia and PEI.
