The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the entire place was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which added a magical touch to our stay. They even prepare fresh eggs for you at breakfast! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely return!

Each room has an en-suite bathroom and a work desk. This is a family owned business that really knows how to run an inn. I stayed here several times back in the 1980s, and although they have extensively renovated since then, nothing about their hospitality and the amazing view has changed. The owners were friendly and accommodating. The view of the Swiss alps and Lake Thun from the room and terrace are simply extraordinary. Our children were delighted to hand feed the beautiful cows--complete with bells--on the property. The evening meals were delicious and reasonably priced, especially by Swiss standards. I left a t-shirt behind, and they were very gracious about sending it to me.
