A fabulous stay. Nick and Diane were exceptional hosts who looked after us from the minute we arrived. The food that Nick cooks - using just locally sourced ingredients - is delicious. Great wine list, good knowledge on local area. Lovely terrace. Perfect for a weekend away.

The stylish Wanderlust Guesthouse is located in Weggis, 200 metres form the lake and at the foot of the Rigi mountain. Free Wi-Fi is featured throughout the property. Lucerne is a 30-minute drive... One of the best Hostel/guesthouse I have ever stayed in! The common room had toys and books to keep my kid occupied. The Kitchen was exceptionally clean, ample equipments and crockery, was super impressed with the design of the place. Location is in such a cozy neighbourhood. Restrooms were maintained very clean as well. Rooms were large with basic amenities. We had to keep our luggage for an extra 6 hrs and they accomodated our request; a huge thank you to the staff for the help. Overall we had a wonderful stay. Totally worth the cost!

The staff were very welcoming and attentive to all our needs. When the heating in one of the rooms didn’t work, they immediately brought us a portable radiator. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary coffee, even though breakfast was not included in our booking. Despite our late arrival, the team kindly greeted us and accompanied us to our rooms to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The rooms themselves are newly renovated, very clean, and beautifully designed. Highly recommend !

Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast is not untill 9am but when requested they arranged really good breakfast as “self service”. Very clean and comfortable rooms.

This hotel is situated in Meggen, just 700 metres away from Lake Lucerne. It offers an Italian restaurant with garden terrace. All rooms have a bathroom and cable TV. Everything! Location is great, easy to find and easy on public transport. Charming authentic hotel with great and clearly very popular restaurant downstairs. Staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, basic, but we knew that. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent.

The Sonnenberg Hotel in Kriens offers panoramic views over Lake Lucerne, the mountains and the forest, a Nespresso machine in every room, seasonal cuisine and free WiFi. Absolutely stunning views, great location near Kriens (where gondolas and cable car to Pilatus leave from), comfortable rooms with lovely views and balcony with chairs and table, free minigolf and playground, free fruit for guests, ample free parking and 2 x 22KW chargers for electric cars. Last but not least, a fabulous and v reasonable Michelin quality fine dining menu in the restaurant (with wine from a vineyard we could see from the terrasse). Would highly recommend for anyone visiting the Luzern region
