Este albergue agradable está situado en Miyún, a solo 50 metros de la Gran Muralla China, presenta una decoración moderna y ofrece WiFi gratuita y aparcamiento gratuito. I chose this hostel as a base for visiting the Great Wall of China. There are a couple of ways to arrive there, the owner provides all the information after booking. My way: from Beijing North Station I took the "Huaimi line of suburban railway" to Gubeikou town. I bought the ticket at the train station 3 hours in advance and it costs 12 CNY. The trip takes ~2,5 h. From the station, a taxi took me to the hostel (~4KM, 20 CNY). It was arranged by the hotel in advance. Once you arrive you find yourself in a kind or yoga retreat. Calmness, tranquility, good vibes. I was lucky enough to have the dorm all to myself. The bunk beds are old styled, no curtains/bed light/bed socket. But my mattress was comfy. The bathroom area is excellent. Lots of toiletries are there for you to choose. And yes, the toilets are Japanese style! For extra payment you can have dinner and breakfast, all chinese style, cooked in their kitchen, mainly vegetarian. And before even settling down, Xiaowei (the owner) tells you everything about the trail you are going to follow the next day. She uses a translation gadget and sends crucial photos of the path through "Wechat" application. She and her assistant Lynn accomodate any need you might have, always smiling and thoughtful.

Zhe·Yi Boutique Guesthouse se encuentra en Beijing, a 5,7 km de Templo del Cielo, y ofrece alojamiento con salón de uso común, wifi gratis y cocina compartida. We absolutely loved this stay! Jennie and her partner were very sweet and extremely helpful with everything, super responsive all the time! The cat is AMAZING - wish we could have taken it with us!! They let us use the washing machine too, which was so useful for us as full time travelers. The location is very close to metro and shops too. We definitely recommend this place!

北京重构空间酒店天安门王府井店 está muy bien situado en el barrio de Dongcheng, Beijing, a 3,2 km de Ciudad Prohibida, a 3,4 km de Templo de Yonghe y a 3,7 km de Plaza de Tiananmén. 5 minutes walk from the Dengshikou subway station, on a quite street. Lovely staff that even brought me on an electric bike to the nearest ATM machine.

El alojamiento esta ubicado en un lugar espléndido y auténtico, en hutongs. El entorno está lleno de vida lugareña, lo que le da ese toque especial.

Lida Hotel se encuentra en Beijing, a 27 km de Área de Shichahai y a 28 km de Plaza de Tiananmén. Espacioso, muy buen colchón, aire acondicionado sin molestar, personal muy agradable, muy buena ubicación para conocer el tradicional mercado en frente y un barrio de restaurantes tradicionales y auténticos para comer.

八达岭诚苑民宿, que cuenta con salón de uso común, terraza y vistas a la montaña, se encuentra en Yanqing, a 10 km de Gran Muralla China (Badaling). -habitación grande y camas muy confortables. Sala de baños también muy buena -comunicación reactiva antes y durante la estancia (aunque el joven no habla inglés pero utiliza la traducción). -recepcionista servicial que vino a buscarnos y llevarnos al parking (íbamos con una niña de 1 año bastante cargados), agradable y eficaz -ubicación: al lado de donde se cogen los autobuses para la gran muralla China. Y desde la puerta del hotel se ve el perfil en la montaña. -decoración (para los frikis): de super Mario y piscina de bolas (para los más pequeños)

The staff were super friendly … they are very helpful and made our stay so much better … we were given a nice tea gift bag when we left, amazing touch. View from the room was awesome and the corgis very cute.
