Desde planear sus viajes hasta ayudar las personas cuando estan en mala siruacion. Me paso que me llevo a hospital con dolor y me operaron de apendix. Se fue a visitar me cada dia y siempre con pregunta con que me puede ayudar❤️ me senti como que me cuidava mi mama. Le agradezco mucho por toto lo que hico por mi. De verdad si van a leticia deben estar en este lugar pa aprovechar de todo y tambien con buena seguridad🎩y si pasaria algo aqui hay personas de corazon que les podrian ayudar. Mil gracias❤️❤️❤️❤️

Maiku Amazonas se encuentra en Puerto Nariño y dispone de jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Todo fue muy amable! Un hospedaje muy gracioso en un lugar espectacular, muchas gracias a los gerentes por la disponibilidad! Si quisieran visitar los alrededores de Puerto Nariño, preguntan por Maraca por qué el es un guía increíble!

La Ceiba, Amazonas dispone de jardín, terraza y restaurante en Leticia. El hostal o pensión tiene habitaciones familiares. En el hostal o pensión, cada habitación tiene balcón. We had a very good time here. We are Canadian so we only stayed two nights because we are not accustomed to the heat (no A/C) but other than that we would have enjoyed doing more of the activities. We enjoyed the dolphins and a walk in town. The people in the community were friendly and welcoming and there is a little museum which is very interesting to get a sense of the community. At the hotel Elizabetta and her colleagues took good care of us when we needed something. We borrowed binoculars, and they ran to the store for us once when we asked for a soda (turns out they don’t carry that, just water). It’s an ecolodge, so if you don’t come expecting a 5 star hotel, and you can be a gracious guest in a native community, you will enjoy. Speaking a little Spanish will really helped us.

Eco Hostel RENASE, en Leticia, ofrece alojamiento solo para adultos con jardín y zona de barbacoa. My stay was amazing. The lodge is immersed in the Amazon forest. The location was ideal as it is easily accessible by bus from Leticia. Mario and Joana welcomed me and were always around in case I needed anything. Joana helped me organize activities around the Amazon and even helped me plan the rest of my trip to Iquitos. She arranged breakfast earlier than planned when I needed to leave early and prepared a small desert for me when I arrived. I truly felt welcomed and loved my stay at Renase.

From the moment we were greeted at the riverside by our host upon arrival, until the moment we left, we have been treated with kindness and warmth by our host, his family and the wider community. You see that the community is keen to have tourists stay in Macedonia such that they can then use the funds to progress their community projects. For this reason alone I’d recommend this as a base from which to explore the Amazon rather than staying in Leticia. Sure you could get on a group tour from Leticia which herds you quickly through the various communities on the river but you’d be missing out on so much and only a small portion of your funds would be directly helping this community. Lie back in a hammock, listen to the forest and escape the bustle of everyday life. Highly recommend the tours they run. No agencies are involved, our host just gets the locals with the relevant expertise to conduct the tour / activity. There were only ever the 2 of us on any given tour / activity and we did many of them including night walk, animal sanctuaries, fishing, visit to see the sloths, way of life experience etc so you really are getting the personal touch. Our host provided boots for the muddier walks, good binoculars when needed and flashlights. If you are here on a weekend make sure you are around one of the afternoons to watch the community football and volleyball - Great fun. The heat and mosquitos were no way near as bad as we were expecting but we did take the standard recommended precautions (hats, long sleeves, mosi repellant etc). The meals are expertly prepared and delicious. Recommend to bring good earplugs, roosters wake up early! Muchas Gracias!!!!

The activities (all guided by locals from the community) offered by Reina Arriera are enough to stay for more than a week, but even in 2 days you can have a great experience. The Accomodation has potable water all day, the bathroom (always clean) and shower water are treated and there’s even wifi. The food cooked by Sara is always delicious and uses fresh, natural ingredients.
