We had a great time at Smile Jungle Hostel :) The owner is really friendly and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. At first, we booked for 3 nights and then we extended for one more week because it's fantastic! The breakfast is very nice and made with love. I love the chilled, non-party vibes, the cinema evenings with the lovely projector, and the surroundings full of animals and jungle sounds. Highly recommended!

Excellent location in Cahuita - beach right in front, restaurants nearby, cca 15 mins to the main road and centre, so still quiet but in reachable destination to all that you need in such a location. absolutely amazing garden - a national park itself :-) an enthusiastic owner that shows you all the animals and tells everything in a friendly tone. all the service from the owners was excellent, including recommended contacts for guides, rentals and transfer to San Jose - many thanks!

Cahuita Inn is an oasis on the southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. Exceptional value for money, standing out head and shoulders above anything else we found in Costa Rica in this mid range price bracket. Contemporary comfort, style, security, wonderful service, delicious food, calm atmosphere, beautiful hammock strewn palm grove right on the ocean, with waves rolling in on your doorstep. Great location; very close to the beach and a short, easy walk into the main street. The room was very comfortable and clean, though definitely could do with some clothes hooks or hanging rods in the bedroom. Best of all was the host who couldn't be more warm, welcoming or accommodating. He's an absolute star and made a great stay even better....thank you 🫶

Lovely place, beautiful guesthouse with very kind and helpful hosts. Perfect location by Playa Negra. Nice garden, hammocks on the shared wrap around upper veranda. Very clean and serene. Nice touches like a shared refrigerator and coffee maker. Excellent value. Would definitely recommend and will absolutely return!
