The best guest house type of accommodation I have visited so far. Riccarda provides an exceptional level of hospitality and will do everything for you to feel like you are home. She met me with home made lasagna in the late evening when I arrived. Next, I surely recommend to reserve time in the morning for her yoga classes, even if you have not ever done yoga before - just like me. Friendly atmosphere that allows making new acquaintances (but if you don't want you don't have to, there is no pressure!). The cats! 🐈🐈‍⬛Convenient location provided you have a rental car (I would anyway recommend renting one regardless of where you stay). Felt very comfortable and didn't want to leave.

Great location on a quiet street only a few minutes walk from the center, comfortable room (ceiling fan was enough in summer), nice bed, good shower and clean room, nicely stocked common area, helpful staff. My room code didn't work at first, but it was quickly resolved.

Casa Mamre heeft kamers in Maspalomas, dicht bij Playa del Inglés en Yumbo Centrum. Francesca en Francesco bieden je een warm en persoonlijk onthaal aan die je niet snel zult vergeten. Ik ben eigenlijk nog nooit zo hartelijk ontvangen geweest door uitbaters van een hostel. Je voelt je steeds op je gemak en ze helpen je waar nodig. Ze geven nog echt betekenis aan het woord 'herberg' in de christelijke traditie. In deze wereld van overcommercialisering waarin je als toerist vaak het gevoel hebt dat je geld moet opbrengen maken zij het echte verschil door hun menselijke, persoonlijke aanpak. Was iedereen zo, dan was de wereld een stuk mooier!

Alcove and walls were full of old artefacts and paintings. It had been a plantation in the past but water shortages have changed that. They grow as much fruit as they can for guests. I especially enjoyed the company of the cats and chickens at breakfast

Het is super netjes geregeld. Ze staan 24/7 voor je klaar als je ze nodig hebt. Hele leuke mensen.

Casa Luz ligt in Agaete, op 1,7 km van Playa del Risco, en biedt een terras, allergievrije kamers, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Casa Luz is located in a corner of the Paradise. In between huge mountains of Gran Canaria, 20 minutes drive from Agaete port through an amazing route by the mountain....you arrive in El Risco, a very small village where the locals are all smiling and you see them working together as a community. When you enter Casa Luz, you discover that there is absolutely everything you may need for your stay, even things that you didn't know you needed. You basically feel right at home. The house is kept wonderfully clean, and there are a lot of small details that will make your stay a truly memorable one. Photos don't do justice of what the house is actually like (it's a lot better than in the photos). Another AMAZING feature is the fact that you CAN drink the tap water, which was impossible for us in any other location on Gran Canaria and Tenerife. You can feel that the water is pure, directly from the mountain, without chlorine. Raul and his mom, Mari Luz, are very friendly hosts and available to help you anythig, while offering your privacy. The terrace was our favorite part. During the day you can sunbathe, at sunset you can enjoy the sights of the local fauna (some majestic birds), and at night you have the whole sky for yourself, completely free of light pollution, so ideal if you like to watch the stars. I could go on with this description way longer, but I'll stop here before the nostalgia of the fact that we only stayed for 3 nights will get too overwhelming. I can't wait to be back.
