Was able to purchase early parking and check in. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels.

The Westbourne serves traditional English breakfast. Guests can also relax in the conservatory or comfortable lounge with real log fire. We stayed in the cottage on the property and it was fabulous very modern and cosy.It was spotlessly clean,bathroom had spa bath and walk in shower and a lovely lounge area upstairs.Great location and plenty of parking space available.Hosts were very friendly and accomadating. I would highly recommend to stay here.

Though acclaimed for its ‘yesteryear’ ambience, the inn looks after you in 21st-century style, with great food. In every room is free Wi-Fi access, a digital TV and an en suite bathroom. Beautiful coaching inn, full of character. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bed room was huge with a lovely en suite and big fluffy towels. Lovely choice for breakfast and meals in the evening were great.

Great location just a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of town and also to the lake. Near parking and the view from our window over sheep in the paddock was very relaxing.
