I did not take breakfast - the room exceeded my expectations. We stayed in the small double room so we could have a terrace - was nice to sit on terrace in the evening/morning. Location was fantastic. Minutes to walk to the lake where you can take boat rides etc. Also many restaurants and pubs close by. Definitely recommend this place!! The staff was extremely nice - I was able to drop off my luggage early and leave it after check-out for 3 hours. Perfect for us!

Het Meadowcroft Country Guesthouse wordt door een familie beheerd en biedt uitzicht op schilderachtige heuvels. Het ligt in het rustige dorpje Ings, op 3,2 km van Windermere. The Guest House is very well decorated clean and fresh. Our bedroom was a good size very comfortable bed with a TV and tea and coffee facilities. Excellent shower is very powerful in a separate cubicle. There is a small lounge for guests to use with a fridge and microwave. Very nice dining room and breakfast was excellent with friendly accommodating staff. Looked a bit out of the way on the map but perfect location as a base for touring the lakes. Bus stop outside. Londis supermarket next door at the garage that stocks most things you might want including food and drinks. Five min walk to a lovely pub that had a good choice of drinks and great food menu. What we had was excellent. On site car park We were very pleased with our choice and happy to recommend.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Excellent location. Was able to purchase early parking and check in. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. Leuk hotel, dichtbij het centrum van Windermere. Mooi ingericht, net als de kamers in het hotel. Voldoende ruimte op de kamer en een mooie grote badkamer. Het ontbijt wordt geserveerd aan tafel met voldoende keuze, erg lekker.

Dit prachtige Victoriaanse huis ligt op een rustige locatie tussen Windermere en Bowness, op slechts 1,6 km van het meer Windermere. The included breakfast was incredible! The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. The room is full of character, aesthetically pleasing and very thoughtfully arranged. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We would definitely visit again.
