At first, I was hesitant because the exterior of the building was unfamiliar, but it's one of the traditional Georgian houses in the area. The owners are truly wonderful people who go out of their way to help.

The staff was very attentive, was always available and had very short response times. They kindly allowed us to store our luggage at the reception before check-in time and it was already in our room as we came. The room included every necessary amenity and everything felt clean and cozy. It also had a comfortable balcony with a small table and chairs.

Tazo and his family really made me feel at home away from home. At first, I booked for a short stay and then I decided to stay for a month. I felt welcomed, loved and cared for. I couldn't have asked for a better homestay for my first visit to Georgia. Oh and Baia's (mum's) homemade breakfast is the best - U gamriellisi! (It means "very delicious" Georgian) She learnt that I like to eat healthy so she made healthy breakfast for me everyday with love ☺️ Mum and Grandma even taught me basic Georgian words. All my needs were met and Tazo was always there to help me with anything I needed. Overall, I came to Tbilisi as a solo traveller and left with a new family and a good friend - Madloba Tazo 🤜🏾🤛🏼
