With respect to the local architecture, the stone-built Nereids Guesthouse enjoys views of the Saronic Gulf and Hydra Town from its furnished terraces. It consists of elegantly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi. We forgot a bag on the boat with our passport and he helped us to get it back. He saved our life! He also made our room birthday proof. I turned 30 and there were flowers and a bottle of cava. Best host ever.

The staff are also lovely. It’s not huge, but that’s the case with most things in Hydra and it was perfect for us (a relatively tall couple).
