I stayed at Rumah Baris Ubud for 5 days and was absolutely satisfied with my experience. The room looked exactly like in the photos: clean, stylish, and newly renovated in a modern European style. There’s a lot of attention to detail: beautiful blackout curtains, soft LED lighting, a lovely wall painting above the bed, elegant door handles, and an overall sense of calm aesthetics. The mattress was very comfortable, and the whole space felt thoughtfully designed. One charming detail I really appreciated: you can hear roosters in the morning a gentle, natural way to wake up without an alarm. The room was always clean, with no unpleasant smells, and both hot and cold water were available at all times. Daily housekeeping was reliable, and the overall service was excellent. I would also like to highlight the stuff, especially The biggest highlight of my stay was the staff. Special thanks to the manager Widhy and Komang from the reception team. I arrived sick with a cold, and they took great care of me. They regularly checked in, helped me organize meals, and were incredibly supportive and kind. I felt truly cared for and safe during my time there. When I return to Ubud, I’ll definitely stay at Rumah Baris again.

Gata House is perfectly located if you want plenty going on day and night. I’ve lived in Bali over a year and this is the cleanest place I’ve stayed- the staff takes a lot of pride in what they do. The bed was super comfortable and I slept really well considering it’s a very noisy area. (And I’m a light sleeper). The bathroom is very clean and there’s absolutely no mould. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Ubud for a few nights.

Adi was a really nice host, the breakfast was amazing. The location is great to explore the city but the house itself is quiet and has an amazingly beautiful garden. Big bathroom, hot water, comfy bed, ac.

Made was an amazing host, let’s start there. He's kind, the place is spotless and well maintained. The construction next door runs from 9 AM to 4 PM. I didn’t find it too disruptive. The hotel is about a 10 minute bike ride from the center, but if you prefer to stay in, you have everything you need. A quality supermarket, Petito, is just down the street, and Pondok Panji has a fully equipped kitchen. I highly recommend it.
