A perfect stay in a beautiful Samosir Island! Dimmer is a very kind and attentive host who cares a lot for the wellbeing of his guests. The rooms are impeccably clean. Also, The location in Tuktuk is great with nice restaurants around. Also, the hot showers are a great bonus! I would definitely stay at Matraville again anytime.

A recently renovated guest house set in Tuk Tuk, Hub Tata Guesthouse features a garden. The property features lake views. In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside.

This Homestay is about 5 minutes walk from the ferry port. I had a pretty heavy suitcase with me and there was no way I could carry it on the uneven road and steep uphill. The owner, Marin, came with her scooter and picked up the suitcase right away. Upon the check-out was the same. Marin and Johanna were always available and very friendly. The view from our room was facing the lake and the beautifully maintained garden.

excellent location with amazing views the food was nice, especially the fish sambal. the staff were also lovely and really chill there’s no AC/fan which can be hot during the day but not a problem after sunset.

The location was very nice and very strategic. You get the view just in front of your room. We regret that we have to leave early. Wish we could stay for another night! Staff was very helpful.

The room is spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable although it is a bit weird that the whole bed is covered in plastic. Bathroom is small but okay.

It’s a perfekt location very clean and big room, with everything you need. There is a restaurant wich has great food! You also can rent scooter there. The owners a really nice and helpful. They help you organizing give you tips and sometimes play games and talk at the night with you.

If you’re visiting TukTuk then you MUST stay here! The staff were so friendly and gave us recommendations for the island. We rented a scooter off them also which was super easy. One morning they evening brought breakfast down to our room for us so we could enjoy the view of the lake, it was lovely! Any questions we had about the local area or transportation back to Medan they were very helpful 😊 would recommend this place to anybody, perfect location also! Little bonus, our room had a bed in the annex area and it was so nice to chill there for sunset!!
