El personal es muy amables y hospitalario, siempre dispuesto a ayudarte en todo. La comida es a base de verduras organicas directamente recogidas de su huerto, deliciosa. Si volviéramos al valle de Nubra, no dudariamos en volver a quedarnos allí. Todo un vergel donde poder descansar durante unos días.

Chakzot garden house se encuentra en Leh, a 18 min a pie de Shanti Stupa y a 700 metros de Soma Gompa. Lovely place with a beautiful garden and a great location. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to extend it for a few more days. The owners are incredibly helpful—when I fell sick on our second night in Leh, they took me to the hospital in the middle of the night. We are truly grateful for everything.

I booked one room for 2 nights but wasn't able to arrive until the second night. I arrived on the second night with friends who also wanted to book a room there. Instead of charging for the second room, they gave it to us for free in lieu of the first nights accommodation (2 rooms for 1 night instead of 1 room for 2 nights). I was very surprised by their generosity as it was my fault that I couldn't arrive the first night. The food was also incredible. Excellent quality and the quantity was insane. It's even more impressive when considering the remotness of the hotel. By far the best accommodation I stayed at during my entire holiday throughout India and Nepal. The customer service couldn't have been better.

Staying at Thangkop House was one of the most special parts of my time in Ladakh. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Dolma’s warmth, kindness, and presence made the guesthouse feel like a true home — not just a place to sleep. Every detail was handled with love. Wang was incredibly kind and respectful, always making sure things ran smoothly and that guests felt at ease. He wasn’t just a host — he helped with every question, shared thoughtful tips for exploring Ladakh, and created an atmosphere that felt open and relaxed. Dolma’s fresh local bread every morning was a simple but beautiful gesture I looked forward to each day. The rooms are clean and quiet, and the garden is a peaceful spot to reflect after a day exploring. This place has heart. You don’t just stay here — you connect. Thank you for everything, Dolma, Wang, and Samir. It really meant a lot — I won’t forget this stay and hope to return one day.

Julay Guest House, que cuenta con jardín, terraza y vistas al río, se encuentra en Leh, a 19 min a pie de Shanti Stupa. El sitio es muy céntrico, limpio y las habitaciones amplias. La mujer que lleva el homestay te da todo tipo de facilidades, y además tienes té gratis todo el día. Las camas son cómodas y los baños muy limpios.

Rabyang Guest House and Homestay se encuentra en Leh, a 15 min a pie de Shanti Stupa, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, wifi gratis, servicio de habitaciones y guardaequipaje. Las instalaciones, con habitaciones grandes y un pequeño jardín donde relajarse. Sobretodo la paz y la tranquilidad del sitio, a 4 minutos del centro de Leh, pero en una zona aislada donde se llega por un camino entre huertos de 40 metros que te adentra en la Leh original. Y destacar también la excelente amabilidad de la familia que gestiona el guest house.

Rock Castle Residency se encuentra en Leh, a 2,3 km de Shanti Stupa, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. The staff was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The rooms are very big and clean, with great views, and the bed is comfortable. The food is delicious. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend:)
