All we saw was snow and fog/ cloud. Iceland was having a late winter to mid-April.

Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi. Bathrooms are shared. The Elda House exceeded our expectations and was our favorite guesthouse we stayed at in Iceland. The facilities were very clean, staff was friendly, and the location was perfect for staying near Myvatan. We loved the concept of sharing a kitchen and bathroom with one other room. We also got to experience the magic of the Northern Lights right outside of our front door. It was truly a great stay and we plan to come back on our next trip!

Quietly located 5 km from Iceland's Ring Road and 13 km from Lake Mývatn, this family-run guest house offers views over Sandfell Mountain. On-site facilities include 2 hot tubs and a communal TV lounge. Free WiFi is available in the common areas. Very good breakfast whit self made waffle, home made jams. The diner with lamb was good, also the warm home made rubarber. There are 2 hot tubs beside the place to use. Good WiFi and very friendly waitresses.

Towels and bed linen are provided in the guest house. The accommodation is non-smoking.
