It was beautiful, spotless, like it was brand new. So much character and charm. The bathroom was lovely. The detail and care that has gone into this place really shows. Extremely comfortable bed and the couple who owned the place were so welcoming. The wee town is beautiful and a perfect gem. So glad we found this place.

The apartment was really nice, great-sized rooms, nicely furnished in an appropriate style for the beautiful building. The pool was lovely too. I appreciated the scented candles in the bathroom and the huge soft white towels.

The room was lovely, very comfortable and clean. There is also a common area with a kitchen (tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge etc), a dining table and a washing machine. The property is very well located in the heart of the old town. It is a stone’s throw from the jetty - a ferry trip to Isola Maggiore is highly recommended. There is also an amazing bakery with the best pastries next door to the property. Mario is very friendly and easy to communicate with, and very kind and accomodating (allowing us to check in much earlier!).
