The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we slept so well every night. But what truly made this place special was the amazing host. She was one of the kindest and most thoughtful people we met during our trip. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel at home. She went above and beyond—preparing delicious homemade breakfasts full of love and flavors of Japan, and giving us fantastic recommendations on places to visit, where to eat, and hidden gems only a local would know. We felt genuinely cared for, and that personal touch made all the difference. Out of all the places we stayed during our trip to Japan, this was by far the best. She and her husband were incredibly kind, always ready to help, and extremely accommodating. The apartment is beautiful and equipped with every comfort you could imagine—kitchen, kettle, washing machine, drying space, iron, teas and coffee, soaps, and more. The location is also perfect for exploring all the neighborhoods of Kyoto. We truly had a wonderful experience, and when we return to Kyoto, staying here again will definitely be a plus!
