The guest house features family rooms. I was surprised how spacious the room was! It was big enough to enjoy spending time in the evenings in the room - not like the other hotels I stayed at, where I only slept because it was so tiny. The room had a small table and even a balcony! The staff was extremely friendly and the room was cleaned every day. They also supplied us with free water bottles, more tea bags and fresh towels every day. The location was good too, a short walk to the subway and in walking distance to the old city. I definitely recommend staying here!

Linda is extremely attentive, kind and responsible, she clearly represents the welcoming and educated character of Japanese people! The place was very conveniently located, within walking distance to Nishiki market and Metro stop. It was a large comfortable space for a family of four to stretch out and have as our home base to travel and explore Kyoto, so much better option than small hotel room. The host was so kind, and used google translate to help explain everything in the house. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was very spacious. We ate out, so did not use the kitchen, but everything was available to cook yourself.

The distance from the train was small and downhill. The host was phenomenal, she made us breakfast and each day was a different region. She also had amazing recommendations on where to tour. I want to come back to Kyoto again just so I can stay there longer!

I stayed for more than two weeks at the hotel. I had a great stay. The bathroom and shower room were always perfectly cleaned. The people working there were very nice and helpful. The bedding was comfortable. And the hotel is very calm.

They are wonderful people.

We appreciated the convenience of being able to easily access the city’s attractions while still enjoying a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. All in all, our stay here was a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and convenience. We can’t recommend this place enough and look forward to returning in the future.
