My friend & I stayed here for two nights as, after a month traveling, we wanted some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. That is what we got too. We stayed in our own 2 person hut with a little balcony that had comfortable seats and a hammock, ideal for relaxing; almost read my entire book! We went kayaking one day, following the Green Cathedral trail. The kayaks were provided free of charge by the accommodation. They brought us fresh fruit and cold water every time we appeared in the common area which was equally as colorful. Their hospitality was wholesome, welcoming and extremely helpful, especially when we needed to organize transport to our next destination. I cannot fault this place. I would strongly recommend a stay.

Even if you’re out exploring during the day, make time to come up here—it’s worth it. We were lucky enough to meet Tola, one of the owners, in person, while Patrick was always just a message away on WhatsApp. Their hospitality was next-level—not just friendly, but genuinely invested in making sure we had the best experience in Kampot. Need a scooter? They’ll sort it. Have a question? They’ll answer before you’ve finished typing. It felt less like staying at a hotel and more like staying with friends who happen to be excellent hosts. A small but brilliant touch was the Welcome Book in our room. Now, I’m a logical guy—former project manager—so I really appreciated how well-thought-out and practical it was. It wasn’t just another generic guidebook; it told the story of the owners, explained how everything in the room worked, and laid out the best of Kampot in a way that made planning effortless. There are subtle sustainability hints woven throughout the book and the hotel itself—little reminders that made me rethink my own habits. The room is cleaned daily and to be honest it seems like they changed bed sheet daily too. INCREDIBLE CLEAN - great breakfast : eggs different ways or pancakes - coffee, teas or smoothie all serviced with daily fresh fruits. Once again well presented and clean - great help: assisting with bookings, scooter rental for only $7 a day directly from the Guesthouse. Laundry $1 per kilo, ready on your door the next day - great location: close to the main area but is a quite spot - amazing team looking after, run by a family. Very lovely and helpful Negative: Nothing to do with the Guesthouse itself. The bloody trumpet at 5am from the nearest military base it is incredible annoying. It goes on for 30 min. I feel bad as this can bother many guests and turn them away. But the place it is so lovely and deserves to be booked every day for the amazing effort they put. Thanks for having us 😀

Host has very reasonable & good motorcycle scooters for hire too.

Very central, only $1 via tuk tuk to the main action. The breakfast was amazing. Beautiful home stay. Wish we had more time to enjoy this place more.

De bungalows zijn geweldig en comfortabel, je kan heerlijk op je eigen terrasje zitten in de prachtige tuin. Dany en haar familie zijn ontzettend aardig en gastvrij. Dany heeft alles voor ons geregeld, uitstapjes, de busreis en boot naar de eilanden en nog veel meer.Dany is daarnaast ook een fantastische kok. We hebben genoten op deze vredige plek en raden iedereen aan om hier naar toe te gaan!

Attentive owner always there to make guest feel comfortable. Nice rooms, especially in the second floor, with kind of a shared balcony hallway. Spotless rooms with dimmable night light. Enjoyed the possibility of renting good condition grandmother style one gear bicycles 1,25$/day to explore the surroundings. Onward travel bookable hassle free and free water refills. With this price it doesn’t get better than this. Highly recommended.
