A very welcoming and relaxed family run guesthouse and restaurant, food so fresh and delicious! Recommend a slow walk around Don Det taking in the river scenes/locals at work and coffee stops and definitely hiring a bike (available at guesthouse)to explore the neighbouring islands and the waterfalls. Highly recommend this accommodation.

We had an amazing stay at Xavier’s homestay in Pakse. Xavier was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. He helped us rent motorbikes hassle free at a reasonable price and gave us tips on exploring the beautiful Bolaven Plateau. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, and we really felt at home during our three-night stay. I am very sensitive to bugs and we had absolutely no issues with that throughout our stay at Bolaven trail guesthouse. The host even surprised us with a fantastic baguette for breakfast, which was a lovely touch. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better host or a better place to stay in Pakse. We highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming experience in Laos. Thank you to Xavier for making our trip so special.

Don Som Riverside Guesthouse tiene jardín, terraza, restaurante y bar en Don Som. El alojamiento dispone de servicio de habitaciones, servicio de conserjería y cambio de moneda. We absolutely loved staying at the Don Som Riverside Guesthouse, best place to stay and eat in the 4000 islands. Our little bungalow was super confortable and the shared bathroom was spacious and always clean. We had the view on the Mekong and we spend a crazy amount of time in the hammocks in front of the bungalow. It's a bit further from the rest of the 4000 islands but definitely worth it, the owners are adorable and will do anything to help you and make your stay an awesome experience. Also the island itself is very pretty and only locals live there so if you looking to get away from touristic places, this is your spot! The food is delicious there, breakfast, mango shake and my favorite: their pad thai. Water is free and they have plenty of activities. We went fishing in the Mekong and rented their scooter to visit the different islands. We would have stayed at least a week there if we could. Highly recommend!!

Dokchampa Guesthouse ofrece alojamiento en Ban Khon. Este hostal o pensión de 1 estrella ofrece terraza y habitaciones con aire acondicionado, wifi gratis y baño privado. Our room was very spacious and clean, with the most amazing balcony right on the river, complete with hammocks. Watching the sunset from our balcony each evening was truly delightful. The island is really quiet but has plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We hired bicycles at the guesthouse and visited 2 fabulous waterfalls and Don Khon's busier neighbour Don Det. The staff were always friendly and helpful and arranged our onwards journey right from our balcony! We loved our stay here and would love to return.

Don Falang Homestay- Private Island tiene jardín, zona de playa privada, salón de uso común y terraza en Don Det. Hay wifi gratis y se ofrece parking privado por un suplemento. Todo, hemos tenido la suerte de poder disfrutar de esta linda guesthouse, hace poco que funciona, pero Àlex i Laymon lo llevan super bien. Son personas con un buen corazon, nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos y se preocuparon de nosotros, ya que sabemos poco ingles. La comida esta riquisima, cocina Laymon y sabe mucho. Estas super tranquilo, estas solo en la isla, bien con ellos y los huespedes, linda vista al Mekong y con buenos atardeceres. Nos sentimos como en nuestra casa y te llevan y vienen a buscar a Don Det cuando nosotros queriamos.

DODAND Studio & Sunset Riverside Guesthouse se encuentra frente a la playa, en Don Det, y dispone de zona de playa privada. Hay terraza, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Very nice place to spend a few days in 4000 islands. The Host was very helpful, smiling and kind.

Samlee's Garden, que se encuentra a 10 min a pie de Pakse Bus station y a 1,1 km de Wat Luang, ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y baño privado en Pakse. Right on the mekong. Two cats in the lobby are just very relaxed. Great beds with thick bedding and a great airco. Marvelous combination :-). I cannot think about anything bad. Really recommendable!

We stayed at the lovely bungalow right by the water. It had a big deck with chairs and a hammock. The room was big and decorated nicely. The food at the restaurant was excellent and the family that runs it was very friendly.
