I like all of Laos's things: people, culture, food and the way they lives. Everything is simple not hurry. The expenses are very cheap.

We arrived very early in the morning (after a night journey on a sleeping bus), but we were warmly welcomed and able to leave our luggage. By around 10 a.m., our room was ready, which we appreciated greatly. We spent a couple of very peaceful days, something that is very important to us. We loved the quick responses, excellent communication, cleanliness, and attentive service from Xavier and his wife. We used their laundry service, and our clothes were returned clean within a few hours. We also rented a motorbike from them to explore some waterfalls along part of the loop, and everything worked perfectly. Lastly, we purchased tickets to Don Det through them, with pickup directly from the accommodation. Everything was punctual and convenient. The owners are very helpful and will help you with getting to the island (ferry, etc). The shared bathroom is exceptionally clean, and there is a hot shower. My room was large, and the bed was comfortable. The people staying in the hotel usually eat together in the common area at night. This made it easy to meet people and talk to other guests. The hotel also has hammocks, books, and board games. The island the guest house it on is beautiful and the people are very kind. If you rent a scooter or bike, it is easy to get to the other islands. The food provided by the guesthouse is excellent and fairly priced. Great place to relax, meet other travelers, and enjoy the best of Southern Laos. They also provide cooking classes and fishing. The owner provides free drinking water. Bring your own reusable bottle if you can. Otherwise you can fill your plastic water bottle. I

Een prachtige plek net iets buiten het centrum van Pakse. Heerlijk om tot rust te komen. Alles wordt met zorg, aandacht en liefde gedaan. Het verblijf heeft een fijne kamer met uitzicht op de tuin. Het eten is echt heel erg lekker en vers. De eigenaresse is de zacht aardig, enorm behulpzaam en begaan met haar gasten. Ze geeft goede en eerlijke tips wat te doen rond om Pakse. Je kan ook bij haar een kookworkshop volgen. En wil je verder reizen dan kan je via haar ook de minivan boeken. We hebben enorm genoten!

I'm short on adjectives to describe this beautiful accommodation! A lovely place to relax, just a few meters from Don Det. And I don't want to go on about the good food and how excellent Laymon and Alex are, because I should write a book. I should clarify that it's easily accessible by boat, so there's no question of whether staying on a small island is a problem, because it isn't!

I enjoy the simple bungalow with hammock, bed, and basic bath. Very good restaurant, wifi was best I had in Lao, and staff are wonderful.

This was such an amazing stay. Samlee & Jeremie are the best hosts and helped us with getting to Cambodia as well as hiring a bike. They are friendly and accommodating and genuinely made the stay such a joyful experience. Thank you for going above and beyond for us! :-) The room was spacious and clean, it had great bedding and great towels (i love the yellow theme!)
