We combined this with a couple days of resort experience and it was perfect for us. The rooms are large and and very comfy. There is a small pool right outside of your room.

The island is completely safe and the locals are welcoming and curious about foreigners. At one time, on my way back from the beach, I was invited into the house of a handful of locals who offered me some traditional food and had an interesting discussion with me about their customs and way of life. The property The property was built very recently by the owner, and was very much up to the European standards, super clean and very cozy. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and an electric kettle with a selection of coffees and teas that you can make in your room. All meals are served in a dining area just outside of the house, where you can look at the surrounding nature while eating. Snorkel gear and beach towels are also provided free of charge. The beach The beach is just a few hundred meters from the property, full of coconut trees under which you can lay, or just leave your belongings there while snorkeling. Most of the time I was the only one at the beach, or else only saw 2-3 other people a few hundred meters away from me.
