Location was the best part of the lodge, it do feel remote and away from the city but it's really worth. Lodge is next to a free flowing river and view is breath taking and awesome.

This is the most charming hotel we stayed in during our 3-week trip. The minute you get in the door you feel like you're in a museum that takes you back in time. We had gotten a message that we could book a table to dinner but because we were riding all day we didn't think we would get to the hotel in time for dinner. From other guests we heard that the dinner was lovely so we are a bit sad we missed out on this. Breakfast buffet was also nice. Make sure you wonder through all the different rooms and enjoy the decor.

The cabin was located in a quiet location near Stalheimskleiva. There was a nice, sunny terrace to enjoy the afternoon sun. Everything was clean and the cabin worked well for our group. The hosts were really helpful and gave us tips about where to go and what to see. We were allowed to check in earlier than planned, which was a nice surprise.

Extremely great location right there at the train station no more than 50 feet and you’re there. Just one note if you can get a room facing the lake it would be a little more quiet, considering the train tracks are behind the hotel, they weren’t bad, but still slightly noticeable.

Easy check in. Comfortable room. A little loud at night time but is to be expected from a Hostel/Motel. Nice kitchen and bathroom amenities. Out of the city centre but if you have a car it's easy to find. Great for a night or 2.

Location and hosts fantastic. This is a hidden gem if you enjoy quiet, an unbelievable view, and hiking. Also close to major attractions in the area, away from the tourist crowds.

A very nice cabin in a beautiful quiet location. Friendly host who explained all the possibilities of hiking in the area. We didn't have the best weather but still enjoyed our stay very much.

Lovely big house and a welcoming family in a quiet little town not far off from Voss. Great big breakfast provided with a good variety of food and drinks by the host and her extremely polite girls. The shoe warmer was an excellent addition after my boots got soaked on a snowy hike and also appreciated the heater rack in the bathroom which kept the room well warmed and could also dry my wet clothes after snowboarding at the nearby Voss Resort.
