Prem and his family are the greatest people I've met in Nepal ( and I mean it!!). You will have an opportunity to stay with many locals and share about their culture. A lot of cute kids were always playing around, so the place was really lively. The food was excellent and the room & bathroom were sparkling clean! The village of Namobuddha is very authentic and the scenery stunning. If you're lucky enough, you will also have the opportunity to meet Ian who lives there and runs a charity association to provide water pipelines for remote villages. Trust me, go there ...that's the kind of place you will never forget.

Nirvana Kuti ligt in Kathmandu, op 2,5 km van Swayambhunath en 3,5 km van Tempel van Swayambhunath. I stayed in Nirvana Kuti following the recommendation of Linda, a wonderful woman that I met in Delhi airport. She was indeed accurate: Nirvana Kuti is such a beautiful accomodation, comfortable, clean and pretty new. It was easy to feel home. Besides the comfort of the room, with a big, warm bed, with views to the temple just in front of the house, it is located just a few steps from Durbar square, in a very calm street. I slept extremely well and woke up to the beautiful views. Life is magical and I met Bobby, the owner of Nirvana Kuti, even before my stay. He kindly offered me a ride to Nirvana Kuti, and he made it very easy for me to feel home. Even more, he also allowed me to stay a bit longer because my bus was leaving in the evening. I appreciate Bobby's kindness and the beautiful taste in which the house is built. It is both comfortable and stylish, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you Bobby for making of my last days in Kathmandu (for this time) a beautiful experience and see you next time ♡

STUPA VIEW INN bevindt zich in Kathmandu, op 5 minuten lopen van Swayambhunath en beschikt over een tuin, een terras en uitzicht op de stad. Het personeel is echt heel aardig en staat altijd voor je klaar. De bedden zijn super lekker en er is een fijn dakterras waar je kan chillen. De kamer en badkamer zijn basic, maar prima! Het is een beetje buiten het centrum dus lekker rustig. Wel faciliteiten in de buurt !

Green Mandala Inn bevindt zich in Kathmandu, op 3,9 km van Boudhanath-stoepa en 5,5 km van Pashupatinath, en biedt accommodatie met een restaurant, gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. De service en het personeel is uitstekend en zeer vriendelijk. Ook is het maar 5 minuten lopen naar het Kopang klooster.

This beautiful hotel is your safe comfortable clean place to stay in Kathmandu! Rooms are spacious with modern bathrooms and hot water 24h. The buffet breakfast is delicious! U will find many sitting spots in the complex where u can work peacefully or just enjoy the quiet atmosphere. Attached to it is the nunnery and also a beautiful garden. It’s only 6m walk to the Stupa. Near the entrance there is a new clinic in case u need to do some checks. Many local restaurants are nearby. The price is modest and funds the nunnery 🙏🙏🙏

Peacock Guest House ligt op 100 meter van het stadscentrum en biedt een restaurant, Mayur Restaurant, dat Indiase en regionale gerechten serveert. It is completely charming and elegant. We felt comfortable and well looked after. The bed is comfortable and the bedroom is quiet. The food was really good. The tours arranged with Bikram Suwal were wonderful - and when he wasn’t free, Raj was also brilliant. We will come back.

ROKPA Guest House ligt in Boudha, Tinchule, op 200 m van de Boudhanath Stupa en het Sechen klooster. Er is gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Een hele mooie centrale plek om te verblijven. Ik heb genoten. Met een fantastische afsluiter tijdens Diwali waarbij de jongeren gingen optreden. Wat een fijne en liefdevolle mensen! Ik kom graag nog eens terug🫶

Kathmandu Madhuban Guest House ligt in Kathmandu, op minder dan 1 km van Hanuman Dhoka, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Everything was wonderful. Everyone that we interacted with was extremely nice and caring. They wanted you to feel like at home. The shower water was hot. Breakfast was yummy and plentiful. Although in a busy area, it was quiet and we could sleep.

Zen Nest Hotel ligt in Kathmandu, op 3,1 km van Tempel van Swayambhunath en 5,1 km van Pashupatinath. The owner and the staff were incredibly helpful and very welcoming. They were always ready to answer questions and give directions and even recommended a good restaurant and timing for momo. The owner also helped me to book the tourist bus without charging any commission. The room was simple but very clean and well-maintained. I love my short stay here. I will definitely reserve a stay here if I ever visit Kathmandu again.

Lumwoh Guest House ligt in Bhaktapur, op 12 minuten lopen van Bhaktapur Durbar Square en 13 km van Durbar-plein van Patan, en biedt accommodatie met een terras, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en... What you see is what you get and that is great! Simple straightforward rooms in a nice and quite street close to all the beautifull squares. The manager is a wonderfully kind man who speaks perfect English, we stayed two nights more because we liked it so much. Good hot shower and everything is very clean.
